This page describes the management procedures for the PolisFondi website, with reference to the processing of personal data of Users accessing the website. This information is reported in compliance with art. 13 of Law Decree n. 196 of the 30th June 2003 (hereunder, the Privacy Code) for the benefit of persons interacting with PolisFondi websites, accessible through the internet system from the following address: http://www.polisfondi.it/
corresponding to the homepage of the official PolisFondi website. The information only refers to the PolsiFondi website and not to any other site to which the User may have access through a link.

The information also refers to Recommendation n. 2/2001 that the European Authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group set up by art. 29 of EC Directive n. 95/46 adopted on the 17th of May 2001, in order to identify a number of minimum requirements for the online gathering of personal data, and in particular, the means, timing and nature of information supplied to Users by whoever processes their data when Users connect to web pages, independently from the purpose of the connection.


Purpose of the processing of gathered data
When browsing the present site, Users’ personal data may be gathered insofar as they are physical or legal persons or other bodies interested in our services, and who, for this purpose, send specific requests through the email system or by filling out forms that may be  present on the site.
PolisFondi  – in charge of data processing pursuant to the Privacy Code – based in  , will process such data solely for purposes of answering the requests expressly issued by the Users. Data will not be supplied to the public. Data may be communicated to third parties, in charge of data processing, only if strictly instrumental to the services requested by the User.

In any case, where the gathering of personal data is provided, specific information will be supplied pursuant to art. 13 of Law Decree 196/2003, which also states the categories of persons having access to data and the means to obtain an updated list of persons in charge of processing, that is, of subjects authorised by PolisFondi to process personal data.

The request for an email made to the addresses in the specific section of the PolisFondi website entails the subsequent gathering of specific personal data of the applicant, including the email address of the applicant, required in order to reply to the requests.

Browsing data
The information systems and software procedures used for the functioning of this website, during the course of their normal running, gather specific personal data which is implicitly supplied during the use of the internet, based on the TCP/IP protocol.
This information is not gathered in order to be associated to identified Users, but by way of its own nature it could, through processing and association with data held by others, enable the identification of browsing Users.
In this category we may include the “IP addresses” or the dominion names of computers used by Users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of resources requested, the time of request, the means for issuing the request to the web server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the number code identifying the state of the reply offered by the web server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters referring to the operating system and information systems environment of the User. This data is only used to gather anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and in order to check the smooth running of the PolisFondi website.

Use of the so-called session cookies (which are not memorised permanently on the User’s pc and are usually cancelled with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to session identification (represented by casual numbers generated by the web server of PolisFondi) required to enable safe and efficient browsing of the website. The stated session cookies used in this PolisFondi website avoid the use of other information system techniques that may affect the privacy of Users’ browsing, and do not gather the User’s personal identification data.


Discretion in the supply of personal data
There is no obligation for the supply of personal data. However, should the User fill out forms or send email messages in order to obtain replies to enquiries about our services, certain data such as name and surname or company name, phone and address and email are crucial in order to offer the requested service, and must therefore be considered as mandatory.


Processing means and security
Personal data is processed through automatic and manual systems, only for the time required in order to satisfy the purpose for which it was gathered, including the maintenance of subsequent relations with the User following his/her request. Specific safety rules are applied in order to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
In particular, in those sections of the website dedicated to specific services, where personal data of the browsing User is demanded, data is encrypted through a security technology called Secure Sockets layer, abbreviated to SSL. SSL encodes information before it is exchanged through the internet between the User’s computer and the PolisFondi central systems, making it unreadable to unauthorised persons and ensuring the privacy of transmitted information.

Use of SSL requires a compatible browser able to “exchange” a security key of minimum 128 bit, necessary for the secure connection with the central systems at PolisFondi.


Rights of interested parties
Subjects to whom personal data refers (“interested parties”), as gathered for the purposes and with the means described above, have the right at any time of obtaining a confirmation on the existence of their data or lack thereof and of being informed on the contents and origin of such data, verifying how exact it is or demanding its extension or update, or its rectification pursuant to art. 7 of the Privacy Code.

The interested party has the right to demand the cancellation, transformation into anonymity or opposition for legitimate reasons to the processing of such data.
