> ROBERTO RUOZI - Chairman of the board of directors
he received a degree (maximum grade of 110 cum laude) from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in 1961, where he was also Rector from 1995 to 2000 and professor of Economics and Financial Intermediaries until 31 October 2002. He has also taught for the Universities of Ancona, Siena, Parma, Paris (Sorbonne), and Politecnico di Milano. He is currently professor emeritus at Università Bocconi. He has authored numerous publications on banking and other financial issues. He has also held high-level administrative positions for both listed and unlisted companies. He is the chairman of Palladio Finanziaria S.p.A., Axa Assicurazioni S.p.A., Mediolanum S.p.A. and Banca Intermobiliare di Investimenti e Gestioni S.p.A.. He is a member of the board of directors of Touring Club Italiano, Gewiss S.p.A. and Lanificio Fratelli Cerruti S.p.A., and chairman of the board of statutory auditors for Borsa Italiana S.p.A. and Monte Titoli S.p.A..
> PAOLO BERLANDA - Managing Director and General Manager
With degrees in history and philosophy from Università degli Studi di Milano (with a grade of 110/110 cum laude), he began his career by coordinating, from 1984 to 1992, the research unit of Studi Finanziari, a research firm of the IMI group. From 1993 to 1995, he was head of institutional research for IMI’s research division. In 1996, he was appointed head of IMI’s Pension Fund Operations unit. From 1996 to 1999, he held the position of Director of Pension Funds for IMI Fideuram Asset Management. From 2000 to 2001, he was general manager for Immobiliare Italia, a member of the Beni Stabili group, as well as managing director of Servizi Previdenziali S.p.A. From the summer of 2001 to october 2005, he was the managing director of Beni Stabili S.p.A. SGR and managed the launch of three real estate investment funds (Immobilium 2001, Invest Real Security, and Beni Stabili Italian Real Estate Fund).

Registered Accountant in Milan since 1997 with a degree in Economics , Auditor since 1999, graduated in Economics at the University Federico II in Naples, he began his professional career in 1995 in a merchant bank active in the field of bank investments where he held a position in the Finance and Treasury and implemented a system for managing AL & M and exchange rate risks. He practised the accountant professional business before holding, in 2001, a position in the Financial field at Moby Invest SpA, leader of the homonymous shipping company. In 2005 he got to the real estate industry to take the position of Chief Executive and Financial Officer at LM Real Estate SpA. At the end of 2007 he became the Head of Management Control at Polis Fondi SGR.p.A. until he took up, in November 2011, the position of Chief Financial Officer.
> VINCENZO MANGALAVITI - Director of Investments, Italy
With a degree in architecture from Politecnico di Milano and a European masters’ degree in Territory Planning and Real Estate Markets from Politecnico di Torino, he began his career with the firm Bossi-Pasi, where, from 1995 to 1998, he was head of institutional relations. From march 1998 to august 1999, he was Client Liaison Officer for American Appraisal Italia and REAG, where he was involved in feasibility studies for large-scale real estate development projects and the technical and financial analysis of ongoing real estate projects. From august 1999 to february 2003, he was a member of the staff of the general manager of Acquisitions and Asset Allocation, where he followed the launch of the UniCredito Immobiliare Uno fund for the Gesticredit SGR Real Estate Funds division. From february to december 2003, he was head of real estate investment funds for UniCredit Fondi SGR. From december 2003 to april 2006, he was Real Estate Portfolio Manager and then deputy head of the Real Estate department for Pioneer Investment Management, where he was involved in the launch of Pioneer Real Estate Creative Properties, as well as the investment and management activities of all of the funds in the Pioneer portfolio.

A certified accountant and auditor and with a degree in Economics and Commerce from Università Cattolica di Milano and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, he began his career with Deloitte & Touche Audit & Corporate Finance in Milan and New York, where he was auditor and senior associate from 1994 to 1998. From 2000 to 2002, he was senior associate for JPMorgan – Technology, Media & Telecommunication Mergers & Acquisitions Group in New York. From 2002 to 2003, he was senior associate and junior investment manager for Morgan Grenfell Private Equity in Milan. From 2004 to 2006, as the managing director for EstCapital SGR in Padua, he was responsible for the development, structuring, authorization, launch, and placement, as well as the investment activities, of four closed-end real estate investment funds.
